The B House is beautifully appointed, well-kept and full of health and love. And, like most houses built in the mid 90’s, the room shapes and their intended usages aren’t always clear and easy to determine. Their front room was rarely used and with my Feng Shui eyes, I could see why. It’s long and narrow, with both a living room and a dining room, big, wide windows could see into the neighbors’ and the view from the front door went strait through to the back yard. They had “never” used the space. They were looking to maintain better vendor and client relationships resulting in higher profits from their home-based businesses.

What we did: We created an opportunity for the energy to pool, instead of rushing around out the windows and the back door. We turned the couch to face the front door and set up the chairs and the coffee table accordingly. The dining room table, set up for 6, was too big for the three of them, and coupled with the watchful eyes of the neighbors, they felt small and lonely in such a vast space. They removed the leaf and now eat there with guests.

What happened: Ms. B says that they sit in the front room “all the time now” and when guests drop by, they stay and chat. By activating their Living Room, which is located in their Helpful People and Travel area of their home, they have started attracting all sorts of Helpful People into their lives. More clients, higher sales and a general feeling of happiness!
